I did this version of Frank Miller’s batman 4 years ago, I created just his face at that time in one of my character studies, to further train my skills in developing 3D model concepts. About 2 years ago I started to do freelance projects for 3D printing, I have learned a lot in the process and decided to return to this Batman bust, I made several updates and all focused on 3D printing, I engineered this piece, cutting it properly, separating it into 4 parts. the head, cape, torso and base.
I further increased the strength of the bumps to be visible after 3D printing, this is a great tip from the Sideshow team that I attended at the Zbrush Summit, other small details that I created to be realistic, for example on the teeth I did not do with the mesh crossing a on the other, I made a volume simulating the collision of teeth on the inside of the mouth, making it more realistic
I did a quick test on my 3D printer (FDM), on a scale of 1/10 and I liked the results, and I’m about to print this statue in a larger size, this figure will be around 1/4 in scale
