Bathroom Interior

Hello, since we are planning a new bathroom I thought it could be fun to do some previsualization with ZBrush and KeyShot to make the decision process easier. This is our current favorite. We really like the floor tiles and the wall wood panels but we are not sure about the wall/shower tiles and there could be some technical issues with the wood behind the bathtub so the exploration will continue. Fortunately we still have a couple of months before we have to make the final decisions : )
Everything modeled in ZBrush and rendered with KeyShot10.

Ha ha, I like the mannikin! This is great! It’s always good to see ZBrush used for architectural work. Really excellent work. Don’t drop the books in the bath!

Yes! We finally managed to decide on the floor tiles and they have arrived. Now we need to make a final decision for the shower tiles and the list. Trying out two potential candidates here : )

Hello again, it has been a while but I thought that it could be fun to share a real WIP from the actual bathroom. So, here is a photo of the current status.

hey Herman, impressive work  I’m curious on how did you manage to match the texture with the real tile !

@SnakehookD Thank you, I did a diffuse texture based on an image from a retailer.

@Jaime Thanks, we are very happy with our choices so far. Deciding wasn’t easy : )

Really great previz and renders / cool to see the real bathroom coming to life!

To be honest, I modeled our new bathroom in ZBrush too, but it was nowhere as detailed or as beautiful as your work - did allow us to work out exactly how many tiles we needed to order etc. . I remember the guy in the store asking who modeled it and in which software it was done… .

Do real ZBrush nerds model their bathrooms in ZBrush?

:sunglasses: :+1: :star2: :star2: :star2: :star2: :star2:!!

@Geert_Etcher_Melis Thanks so much for the nice words! And a short answer to your question, Yes : )

Herman,

I didn’t know this was possible…it’s breath taking work. Do you offer courses in your workflow process? Sign me up. Your doing only what I thought was possible in Maya or Fusion 360!!!
