Batch_importing_with_Zbrush?

is it possible to do batch obj importing with Zbrush?

It depends what you are trying to do. You can use the MultiAppend option of SubTool Master to shift-select a number of OBJs, which will then be appended as new subtools to the selected ztool.

thanks for the tip I didn’t know that  but the q: was more about clicking the import and being able to select multiple objs from file and have them load straight to subtool. Also the reverse would be cool too if one could export multiple objs meshs dependent upon their poly group per tool within subtool menu. Im asking this because I like to use polycruncher on multible high density objs. Some data models can be in the upwards of 100 sep objects. It could realy speed up the process.

Also In Zbrush can on make normal maps by transferring one models surface information to another?

That’s what the MultiAppend function in SubToolMaster does, or am I misunderstanding?

Again, SubToolMaster provides an export option which will export all visible subtools to OBJ. To export per polygroup you would have to use GrpSplit to make the groups subtools.

ZMapper can do that:

Holy sh_t. You are the man :+1: . Sorry about the repeated question my stupid self didn’t load the sub_tool master. This is fantastic. You won’t believe how much time this is going to save me. Its kindah funny the last question you answered about transferring normal maps to another mesh in zbrush will probably keep me from having to the export objs for later use of poly_cruncher into max. Thanx again  .
