hi Friends,
ever since i started learning z brush, i have been searching for a base human z spheres that helps me to pose, repose, and sculpt details on. but i have not found any.
I made a base human z spheres and am posting the file to download.
I request the experts in ZB please look in to the z spheres and if anything wrong please correct me. ( I am still learning)
It would be great help if you can alter these z spheres to perfection and post so any one can download and use it including my self.
Thanks a lot,
Kkriss
Hi kkriss,
I don’t think it necessary to create a perfect ZSphere to start modeling a human (or any other creature), since most of the time we going to retopology it anyway. Atleast for myself I like a simple ZSphere to start with so the poloygon distribution is quite even across the mesh.
Well, that’s just my thought, probably it will help other people.
Cheers

Hi,
thans for a very quick responce.
As I dont know modeling n any 3D aplications, and ZB is just my hobby and am not going to use for any game or 3D use. So I keep struggling with z spheres.
Am very new to ZB as well, I am basically an artist.
If we dont look for topology, is it fine to sculpt the whole model with zspheres?
Sorry if I am Dumb…
Kkriss
Dude, don’t say “dumb” or stuff like that…we all still learning in this forum, you’re not alone
As far as I know ZSphere is as a starting base for you to work with (like in other 3D apps, people use box modeling or spline modeling to start to model stuff, so instead working from a box mesh u can start working with mesh with 2 arm and 2 legs ) and other use is for topology stuff for more advance use.
Its ok for you to sculpt the whole thing with ZSphere original “skin”, but higher chances for you to trap in a messy mesh (tight polygons in some area and loose in other area which make you cant add the same amount of detail in the whole character)
Hope it will help you to start exploring ZSphere in the future

Thank you Ravel,
It sure helps me, yes I experienced the mesh problem when working with the basic skin from z spheres, perhaps I should import a base mesh from some 3D aplication and work on details is better.
Thank you very much.
