Ballerina

Hey y’all!
Here’s an anatomy study of a ballerina, sculpted from a sphere with Sculptris pro.
This is the first part of a bigger project that I’ve been working on in my spare time after work. I really tried to give it a classical feeling by not adding too many skin details, but instead focussing more on the overall shapes and flow of the mesh.
The goal was to learn more about anatomy and muscle deformation in dynamic poses, as well as the new zBrush features.

@Buddha_arts thank you so much!

Very nice, there is grace in this.

Just a quick note : the right hand pose feels a bit strange

thanks @GHocquet and @kiarash.tamizkar!!

@GHocquet this specifi model was sculpted based on a reference. It might be that I lost some volume while sculpting or misread the pose of the original dancer :slight_smile:
I’ll attach the ref image

Oh I see, thanks for the ref.

I think that on the right hand the pinky and the ring finger are “joined” together but I can be wrong because the image is small.

Nevermind, you did a beautiful work please keep doing it, it is so beautiful.

@GHocquet yeah unfortunately i wasn’t able to find a higher resolution of this pic, but still i used as reference for the pose .
