Baku the Yokai
This is my take on one of my favorites yokai. Baku the nightmare-devouring.
I took the main concept from the great japanese artist Kawanabe Kyosai. And I was also inspired by the amazing sculptures of Zhelong Xu.
I wanted to go a little fourther with this one sculpting some extra details and textures. I still need to improve a lot of thigns. The material got not quite as I was think it shoul be. But I’m very happy with the overal result. I learnt a lot of things that I´ll be using in the next one.
