welcome any comments or suggestions on this one i started playing with over the last couple nights.
only half way into the body sculpt, havent worked much on the head or back yet 
hope to eventually have a stone like material…like a gargoyle arising from his pedastal.

Hi there! The diversity of your subjects is quite surprising! I see you’re well underway with the budysculpting. 
Did you start with Z-Spheres? I really like the fingers on this one. Get your back into his back (and his head) and it will be a nice gargoyle already!
you really need to study some muscles build 
his anatomy is complely wrong, but the main idea and main shapes are good ;]
the hands and feet are awesome,nice pose too:)

yeah pretty much the case, as slocik says, so far ive thrown down the form and pose, put a bit more work into the feet/hands and slapped on some muscles, but really need to find a nice reference images of muscular forms to get them looking exact.

hiya plakkie…yep, all z-spheres underneath. put spheres at every major muscle group like biceps etc…also put heaps of spheres along the hands feet , which seems to help with deforming knuckles etc, as you get less weird mesh deformation from stretched skin…at least i think thats what happens

Hey! Thanks for the ZSphere image. That’s impressive. Until now I only used Zspheres to blot out the overal form, but I marvel at those models that look already convincing in the ZSphere fase. I’ll follow your lead and try some ‘many Zspheres’ setups myself.
By the way: is living in New Zealand as great and beautifull as we here in the Netherlands make it out to be? You must understand; we live in a flat country, and seeing all those incredible mountains, lakes, forests (and sheep) in images and movies makes my heart burst with awe…
yeah…with the increase in local movie productions like “lord of the rings” - the industry here is going off. where i live its a 10 minute drive to the beach and 1 hour drive to the skifield - could ski in the morning and surf in the afternoon…waters pretty damn cold at the moment though…just had a massive snowstorm
sigh… sounds great. Don’t get me wrong; Holland has it’s nice places, it’s meadows, it’s waters and it’s great skies, but it’s just SO CROWDED. There are hardly any places here where you can see no human made objects or don’t hear the sound of a highway. And we have no awe-inspiring nature.
When I have scraped together enough money I’ll go and see your Island. Can’t wait.
