backface select

Hi

I am try to hide some polygons, but when I try to hide it (ctrl+alt+shift) and use a “select lazo” brush, I hide backface polygons too… I try to avoid this with “backface auto mask”, but it don´t work.

I can mask something without mask backside polygons, but I can´t do it when I am try to hide or isolate polygons.

What I am doing wrong?

Some tools, such as the lasso and rectangle tools, are going to always cut through the mesh, that’s just how they work. Instead you could mask an area with the mask pen+backface automask, and hide points from there.
