Baba Yaga's Chicken Hut!

Little hut, little hut! Turn your back to the forest floor, turn to face me with your door!

Something a little different from me this time - I decided to try my hand at creating an item for DOTA2 - a Baba Yaga themed ward! Technical requirements are pretty stringent for these so the poly count was 1500, with a 256x256 texture and a 52 bone limit (very hard to get all the details and eyeballs animating in that limit I can tell you!)

Baba Yaga is a creepy witch from traditional from Slavic folklore. Dwelling in the deep dark forest, she lives in her creaky hut which is perched atop a boney chicken leg. The many eyes of the house can see whatever mischievous deeds are abound near and far, and emits blood curdling screeches to ward off intruders.

…it’s also part of the Baba Yaga set, along with Chemical Alia and DrySocket’s amazing “Babka” Baba Yaga courier - you can see the full set here:

Oh man - my Youtube video didn’t embed :frowning: Does anybody know how to properly embed it?

I used the “[ youtube ] myYoutubelink [ /youtube]” format as documented in the forum help, with my Youtube video address of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rMu6wSDd64I but it looks like it isn’t working for some reason?

[EDIT] …nevermind - I used the embed code from the YouTube vid and it’s all working in the first post now!

The problem was that you used the full address. The Youtube and Youtubehd code only uses the video ID number. It knows the rest of the address automatically. So all you needed to supply within the code would have been rMu6wSDd64I

Ah - yep you’re totally right! That completely makes sense
