Sculpted for Archvillain Games , as part of the Witchfell: Gloamwood Whispers collection.
This version of Baba Morovaya was designed to explore a more compact yet visually intense silhouette. The composition inside the cauldron creates a strong central focus, where the character almost merges with the vessel itself. I worked carefully on the integration between the body’s forms and the cauldron’s volume to keep the overall readability clean despite the dense detailing.
The exaggerated limb proportions were sculpted to emphasize anatomical tension and the weight of the crouched pose. The main challenge was balancing distortion and believable anatomy.
The cauldron received special attention: its ornaments, reliefs, and surface textures were designed to add visual rhythm without overpowering the main figure. The interplay between organic and decorative elements enhances the contrast between the grotesque and the ritualistic tone that defines the piece.
