Hello everybody,
I am a student at a university in the UK. My final year project is to research test and implement various methods to create a high end human model which will be comparable to a photograph. This will be completed around may this year.
The asset will be designed using max (modelling, lighting, texturing, rendering) and zbrush (texturing and sculpting) as these are the software packages I am most proficient in.
Currently I would consider myself to be capable, rather than talented, which is why none of my work is posted . I would like to learn the best workflow to turn work from average to excellent.
What I am looking for is a brief description of your workflow, and what methods you use to create high end work which i see soo much of on here.
This can include modelling techniques, texturing, lighting, rendering, anything you would consider to be important when aiming for perfection.
Also if any of you are employed in the game/film industry (im sure a lot of you are) and you have time to answer a few qustions via email, It would be much appreciated.
