Recently I reformatted my PC and I installed zBrush 4R7. For some reason autosave is not working, I have messed around with the settings to see if I can get it to save more frequently, but it isn’t. Even if I’m idle for a minute, nothing happens. I have tons of space on my hard drive so that shouldn’t be causing an issue.
I modified my Startup macro to prevent it from performing AutoSaves for the longest period of time allowable. If I could disable it completely I would. It decided one too many times it would be a good time to save that didn’t agree with me or what I was doing at the time. There are settings in Preferences, change as desired and save the config afterward, as it’s not automatically saved.
I’ve been messing around with the settings, and even stored them… Nada. Still nothing. Would having zBrush installed on a SSD be the problem?
I would like to know how to turn off quicksave all together. Sometimes my viewport goes blank after it saves. Win8.1
