Hi all, there is a way for automatic poligroup every different surface?
i can’t understand how use group by normal for this.

Hello @Enrico_Sartori
For a shape this complex there is no automatic solution. Establishing polygroups will require some effort. The form is too complex and the planes not distinct enough to expect good results from any of the automatic polygrouping solutions.
Polygroupit is going to be your most useful tool, especially if used in conjunction with polypaint. You can actually paint black dividing lines on a white surface, and Polygroupit will automatically establish polygroups in the space between the lines. Painting lines on a mesh this complex will probably require a bit of effort.
In the future, when working towards complex polygrouping, consider making the shape out of simpler, separate mesh pieces. The simpler the shapes are, and the more distinct the edges, the better job tools like ZRemesher can do with them, allowing you to quickly retopologize them into lower poly meshes. Those are much easier to establish polygrouping for–especially if they are low poly enough to work with ZModeler. Then, once the polygrouping is established, Live Boolean can merge the shapes together while preserving those polygroups.
Thanks a lot, I’m a beginner and I have yet to understand the right workflow.
FWIW - I find Depth Masking really useful. Enables easier masking where there are relatively distinct zones. Then, of course, the masked areas can be easily polygrouped (Ctrl-W). Take a look at how to enable depth masking in this AskZbrush from the master, Joseph Drust How can I make a depth masking brush for concave and convex surfaces?
