is there a way to align uvs shells automatically in vertical or horizontal direction?
The Align Tools (Tool:Subtool:Align) work on UVs, as does the Gizmo, polygrouping, visbility etc. So you can use Align and other tools to get what you want. Just tried it on a cylinder. Nice! (I haven’t used UVs myself but just wanted to confirm what I thought was the case). Cheers.
