Attn: Environment Artist. Do I need 3d Coat skills as well for environment concept art?

In this video, the artist starts off with 3d coat then goes into Zbrush. Love the Art Deco Boolean cuts he gets with 3d coat. Do you all think this is unique or easier in 3d coat vs zbrush ?
