ATTN: Do not buy ZBrush from Pixologic! Customer support is half-azzed

Just spent $800 on ZBrush and have yet to receive my download link, so I opened a ticket, which is a waste of time because it’s with a company that sells $800 and up merchandise and couldn’t be bothered to supply a 24 hour 1-800 number in case something goes wrong on the weekend… (Called their 1-888 number and asked to leave a message!)

So I’m posting this thread for a way to let off a bit of frustration (As $800 for a series of 1’s and 0’s is a LOT of money!) and in the hopes of letting at least a moderator/admin know of this issue as they are the only ones who exist in this company until Monday…What a crappy way to be introduced as a first time ZBrush 4.7 user…

Plus, it’s nice to hear back from an actual human as there is no response from Pixologic’s end so far!

Turns out I actually switched the letters in my very own email when typing, which I don’t do very well! The Mod/Pixologic pointed this out and resolved the issue, a big thanks to Matt Yetter for clearing this up for me!..Seems like they’re really not half azzed at all…My apologies.

Relax for feck sake, it is the weekend after all as you mentioned. No point in putting up numerous bitching posts, just enjoy your weekend and the support crew will take care of you on Monday.

Lol, this was posted 8 hours ago, you’re too late to bitch about my bitching, as my anger has pretty much dissipated since then…Plus it’s pretty pointless to tell me to calm down when this was posted 8 hours ago…Now if this were IRC, then yeah.

And no, I will not edit it out as I don’t mind standing by my initial irritation, as there are plenty of less successful e-retailers that offer customer support on the weekend, especially since they don’t sell merchandise well above $800, so yeah, I had every right to be irritated…
