Assasin

Hey folks!

So I recently finished Cesar Decol Jr.'s sculpting characters in zbrush class. I learned a ton!!! was a relative noob to the process before taking the class.

I also just finished playing assasin’s creed (the first one, i know, late to the game) and fell in love with the design of Al Teir.

Figured I’d take what I learned in Cesar’s class and attempt Al Teir. So, here’s where I’m at so far. Still got a TON of detailing to do, but rough shape and some detail is there. Must say I’m LOVING zbrush. so cool. Thanks for looking, and any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Some updates, most hard to see with naked eye. bit of armor detailing done.

Love the detail on the arm piece, and the cleanness of the model overall. The cloth folds look great too! Make sure that the strap that’s holding the triangle shaped piece of material digs into the shirt and cowl, but then maybe you were already planning that…

Looking forward to more updates!

Nice tribute to the game. I would suggest spending a bit more time on the face. In particular the lip area. Also, Altair is fairly young, so avoid putting too many lines/wrinkles in his face. Every line/wrinkle adds age. Right now it doesn’t look a whole lot like Altair but it could easily be one of the many other Assassin’s with whom he works. Great job and keep it up!

nice details…

Hey folks,

finally finished this guy up. Had problems in zbrush, had to build this guy in seperate subtools, couldn’t even assemble the whole guy in zbrush cuz it would keep crashing. This is my first serious attempt at a game resolution character, 11,225 tris (including weapons), 4 2k maps. Posed and rendered in modo. Thanks for looking!
