*ASAP* Gray edge around Divided object? help?

I replaced the old head a long time ago so the body is in 2 parts but they are merged into a single subtool, I duno how I managed it but for some reason it started having a gray line around the cuts

This is making it impossible to show people my work and it gets in the way, how can I remove it? please help

No idea what that is but you could try:

  1. Turn off the paintbrush icon in the Tool>SubTool list. If the gray line disappears then it is polypaint and you should be able to paint over it.
  2. If you can’t paint over it then make sure it isn’t masked by pressing Tool>Masking>Clear.

It would help to show a screenshot of you whole interface. That makes it much easier to see what your current settings are, in case they’re relevant.

  1. nope, I can’t see the line when moving the camera so its not paint related
  2. cleared the masking and nothing changed

Like I said the lines are not visible when moving the camera, it is only there when the object is standing still and as you seen in my other picture the line is straight across where the object is seperated

What happens when you hide the other subtool?

Go to “Stroke > Curve Functions” and click “Delete”. You probably hit 7 on the number pad which will put a curve around all polygroup edges.

Thanks for the screenshot. Yes, as zber2 says, you have probably created a curve by mistake.
