Art of Star Wars II

this is probably a few years too late, but I would like to recommend the book “Art of Star Wars II: Attack of the Clones”

something for everyone: architecture/industrial design, fashion sketches, color harmonies in gouache

for me, this is the film where Lucas & co. really pulled it together in every scene, so you can re-watch it just for the color-schemes and design stuff

Havran,

I must agree with you about StarWars II. Visually, I think it is one of the most beautiful films ever made. I’ve spent many hours viewing the DVD on my computer without sound, marvelling at the rich, high-resolution complexity made possible by digital cameras, exquisite CG renderings and state-of-the-art compositing (and the brilliantly designed harmony of choreography, color and atmosphere!)

Thanks for the tip on the “Art of” book… must check that out…
