Are there other ways to close this?

Are there other ways of closing this or expanding it…? It’s not an issue on my PC, but because my laptop screen is smaller, I can’t see the option to hide this menu on start…

Oh, never mind. Didn’t realise you could close it by clicking on LightBox. Still have no way of being able to scroll along to the right though on a smaller screen.

Hello @DustyShinigami!

I’m glad you were able to close it, but let me give you some additional information.

  1. The “,” key is the default hotkey to close/open Lightbox.

  2. You can scroll the Lightbox interface content by clicking on it in an empty spot, and dragging.

  3. The recommended screen resolution for Zbrush is 1920 x 1080 or greater.

  4. You can scale your interface to fit some smaller resolutions by adjusting the Preferences > Interface > UI> Button Size. You will need to restart the program to see the changes, and remember to always store the configuration ( Preferences > Config > Store Config) after making any changes in the Preferences menu.

Hope some of that is helpful!

Excellent. Thank you. Had no idea you could adjust the size of the buttons; that’s sorted it. My resolution is 1920x1080, but it was still cropped. Unfortunately, dragging on an empty spot doesn’t allow me to access the Hide button.

Yes, I misspoke. You can scroll the Lightbox content list to see offscreen items, but not the actual interface.

I’m a bit confused though. If you’re running at 1920 x 1080 the Lightbox menu should not be cropped in the default interface, even with both side trays open. Custom interfaces with especially small viewport could cause this issue, but your screenshot looks like the vanilla interface. I would double check that you are actually running this at that resolution.

I also noticed that you’re running zb2018.1 The current Pixologic demo is still zb2018, but otherwise be sure to upgrade to the most up to date version of Zbrush. It’s free for registered users, and may clear up issues associated with using an obsolete version.
