I watched the “Architectual Techiques using Projection Master” and found it very informative. The only question I have is when making assets for games you need to know what scale and unit of measure to use and make your assets adhere to a dimension and in some cases they need to be exact. The video didn’t go into that aspect and it would be great to get some methods for that when using the techiques in the video. Thanks in advance.
My suggestion is to make proxy shapes to correct dimensions in another 3d program and import them as subtools to use as reference.
This means that if you import a 1m x 1m x 1m cube into Zbrush, you can use that as reference for when you need a 1m measurement.
You can even make a low polygon reference model in a different 3d program made from primitive shapes to give you correct measurements (correct, not 100% accurate, though).
Hope this helps.
