Hi,
I have a high res texture that I want to apply to the HD geometry. But when I try to load the texture in texture map having HD on I get the message
“apply uv mapping or use polypaint without uv mapping”
But my mesh has uv.
What I want to do is import a high res texture to the HD geo, and then polypaint from texture. But polypaint from texture isn´t available in HD mode. Is this normal?

When ever you go into HD model Zbrush automatically disable your UVs. One way to get the texture on is to duplicate the model and separate it into pieces. Subdivide those to get the resolution you want and apply the texture to that. Re-project the separated meshes to the original mesh in HD Mode.
