Hi There,
Completely new to ZBrush and need to learn quickish! Anyone here in London and want to earn a few quid teaching me the basics?
Failing that, what are the recommended DVD’s/online video tutorials?
Thanks,

wt do u wna learn? anything specific?
character modeling - mainly the human figure and cloth/clothes
Where in London are you???
Meats Meiers Gnomon DVD on ZB 3 is ace, you’ll learn a lot fast but you’ll need to import it!!!
Kurv’ Studios DVD’s are good too but not seen the ZB ones since Wayne did them, I hear good things though…
Thanks for the info Buckie, I’ll check them out.
I live in east London (Hackney) and work in Soho, don’t mind traveling though.
Not too sure how good it is now Scott Eaton has left, but Escape Studios have a ZBrush course. It costs £300 and they are located in Shepherds Bush.
Hey my names Gennaro Grazioso and I’ve been in your shoes before, don’t get me wrong I’ve got allot to learn like yourself but here are a few things I think you should check out. Gnonom is a great start for people like yourself. If you want to learn how to model clothes and the human form you’re going the wrong way about it. No1 can teach you how to understand the human form or how clothes behave in a day. It takes a long time, you need to analyse it yourself. Buy books on human anatomy; look at other Zbrush models allot you’ll start to understand more about it.

Download that model it will certainly help you. All someone can do is show you methods on to model certain sections of the model but yes it will help a bit but u won’t be able to recreate it because you don’t understand the form properly. Scott Eaton is a great place to go, on his sight he tells you about some books on anatomy and he does a really nice video tutorial on how he models cloth.

This shows you how to model face anatomy in Zbrush by the legend Ryan Kinglien. He has tones of free tutorials to show you how to model people, heads, hair, ears, the mouth area all kinds of things. This is his personal sight so check it out and also check his links out some great artist and it will defiantly help you.
These are some other links ranging from tutorials to 360 turntables from some of zbrushcentral’s community, some incredible stuff you HAVE to check it out because I tell you it doesn’t half get your creative juices running. There are allot of things here if you just look through them which will certainly help you out allot.

Hi there, I’m also looking for a Zbrush tutor as I’ve been trying to learn the software for a while now and don’t seem to be getting far with it, and I don’t know whether its my lack of skill with sculpting or whether the wacom tablet I’m using has the wrong settings, giving me some strange results (I say that because a lot of the tutorials I follow look a lot ‘cleaner’ than my work, although that could just be down to lack of experience.)
Is anyone interested in teaching? I’m currently based in Ealing, don’t mind traveling if it means I can start getting into the nitty gritty of this program
Thanks,
