I’m making a uni-suit and I want a repeating diamond pattern imprinted into the cloth material. What’s the best way to do that without seems?
Use NoiseMaker. It’s in the Tool >> Surface menu. You’ll find that the noise plugin has a huge variety of patterns to choose from (and modify) or you can import your own as an alpha.
Also, to get a consistency of pattern (no stretching), a good UV layout is important, along with using the UV option in the NoiseMaker plugin.
