If you just got ZBrush, why is it 4R5 rather than 4R6? New purchases should be receiving 4R6 and even if you didn’t it’s a free upgrade.

As for your question, simply select an Alpha using the Alpha palette. The Simple Brush does not have one assigned by default.

Well sir… thank you for pointing out that I have the incorrect version , I was assured by the gentlemen at thepiratebay that this was a legitimate copy and that all I need to do is install it, use a crack and then it would be licensed to me. Which it seems to be now, however it didn’t come with the free upgrade you were talking about, so I got in contact with the service consultant at thepiratebay and he has arranged another copy for me which is not only V4R6 but has service pack 2 included as well.

But really… enough of that…

Im busy testing a new pipeline and I want to TRY Zbrush not BUY it, then if the pipeline and workflow are efficient I will buy for everyone in the office and if pixologic dont like that, then Ill use mudbox forever.

Oh dude, tx for the help, It worked.

You have an illegal copy of ZBrush.

Any place calling itself “Pirate” anything is blatantly selling or distributing pirated software.
Anything that requires a crack is pirated.

By law, you must uninstall ZBrush and discontinue its use until such time as you purchase a legitimate license. You can do so directly from www.pixologic.com/store or you can purchase from an authorized retailer listed at www.pixologic.com/retailers. Purchasing or downloading from any other location is most likely going to be illegal.

I am locking this thread as no support can be given for illegal copies of ZBrush.
