anyone watch anime? and if so what are your favorites and why?

My favorites include (the obvious)Ghost in the Shell (both the movie and the Stand Alone Complex Series), Love Hina, Evangelion, Ranma, Saint Seiya, Yu Yu Hakusho, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, Record of Lodoss War, Sazan Eyes, Ao no Roku Go, Air Master etc. etc. And recently, I’ve been watching Maria-Sama ga Miteru, Musou Paranoia Agent, Wolf’s Rain, Full Metal Alchemist, Yugo Negotiator, Gunslinger Girls, Jungle wa Itsumo Hale nochi Guu, Read or Dream, Planet ES. What about you?

Those are all great but has anyone seen the new 
APPLESEED trailers ?
This is going to be one BIG movie, but not too many people know of it yet.
Yep, seen the appleseed trailers… but I didn’t like the original one that much, and this all 3D anime stuff just doesn’t look right… 
Although I obviously do like all-CG productions as well asI like anime, I think they have their own style, and I’m afraid that Anime-looking CG may represent the death of traditional hand-animated stuff. So I’d like it better if it had a CG-look to it rather than a 3D-trying-to-fake-anime look.
EDIT: Ahhhh!!! how could I forget Vampire Hunter D, Cowboy Beebop, Perfect Bue, Akira and Blood: the Last Vampire!!!
