Welcome !
That’s pretty cool, I haven’t heard of Vecta3D thou I have worked with Swift3D which does pretty much the same thing.
I made a little Flash animation a while back if you would like to check it out
eyeguy.zip
I can’t wait til they incorporate real animation to Zbrush hopefully something like Flash’s timeline
hmmmmm.
That’s quite interesting.
Can you expound on the feasibility/ease of using this route?
Z to DXF to Flash…I sure would appreciate hearing more.
Digits that is VERY cool.
I really like the reflecting light on the eyeball. Brava!
So, tell me how you did it, pretty please?
I have Flash4 and use if mostly for buttons and navbars…

Hi Kathy and all
What I did with the eye and flash was I put the skin in one layer
In Zbrush I made one of Southern’s eyes and while it Transform mode I moved it in an arc in maybe 10 steps at each step I recorded a Movie frame. Then I exported each frame.
in Flash I cut a hole in the layer with the skin so the eye will show thru and made a movie of the eye frames. the eye movie is the 10 frames going from right to left, then I copied the 10 frames and reversed them at the end so the eye will travel back.
The eyelid I think is cool I made the eyelid in Z one at half mast and one closed. This I put in another movie and using a random number it is made to do a half blink or a full blink at illregular intervals because of the random number.
Thats it
the eye ball is great
it’s nice to have the ability to
assemble in acad or somethin else
and bring it down to flash level
i’ll post more soon
Excellent! As a Flash designer, I’m totally intrigued. The file sizes are a bit large, but I’m used to that from working with Swift 3d. Nice work guys!
Thanks for the que Digits. I’m gonna go try something myself…I’ll post my little ditty for 121.
I have to tell you’all, there is so MUCH information/news/tutorials/hints etc getting posted, I can’t print fast enough!!
I have a three ring binder FULL, just for ZBrush…
