Animate then export as geometry?

Hi folks,

Imagine i have some geometry that i do a “extrude all polygons” on.

I want to animate this process of the structure “growing”.

Once i’m done i want to export this as geometry to Houdini for further tweaking.

Is there any way to do this?

Can you do simple animations in ZBrush?

So far i saw that you can export a sort of screen capture to mpeg, but i didn’t get any further then that.

So like an FBX export or something similar?

Any ideas or pointers would be appreciated!

I managed to record a camera movement.

But not how to record (animate) a polyextrude.

Should i be choosing the “Wire Frames” option in the TimeLine Tracks palette?
