At least it seems to be the right place for this:
Now, it may not be important for you, for me it surely is.
Started using ZBrush some 12 months ago - roughly. I visited ZBC often, learning. I never posted much, there are only 24 hours to the day.
A week ago I visited ZBC more often and did some posts - was treated with the ZBC-usual friendlyness. It was possible to get in - a little - closer contact with some of you. Smooth running!?
Yes, but: I needed this week to find out (a bit slow, have mercy, it’s just an old guy
!!) that I had to choose either getting balls for posting - or to continue learning, reaching those personal goals.
- did it ever occur to you, that those “big-ones” seldom post around?! -
Don’t get this wrong, I’m aiming not to sit near one of “those”, but as long as I can’t reach my own mere goals…!!
So, it will be off to do some tedious work: learning - at my age - to hard to often!
But, simply “vanishing” - no!!
Therefore and - nearly - in alphabetical order - my thanks go to
- aurick >> invaluable help (& some mild slaps whenever the thread was broken :D)
- andreseloy >> you know why
- Pilou >> easy talking, it was great fun!!
- Ron Harris >> without knowing, you helped me to start to “see” again!
A short list, and I could include all the other ppl that took the time to be friendly - but this here is to long anyway
!!
Finally: continue to see the ZBC-forum as community, not a platform with the sole purpose to present you and your thoughts/works. This is important, too - but first this should be a place where you “can come home to” (sorry, no native speaker, sometimes there are some words in the way).
Ok, that’s about all - take care, be busy, stay healthy - whatever!!
(& watch out, the next time I am here, I’ll blow you all away!!!
-------------Oh NO, just kidding
!!)
