Quite hard to see some of the forms you have going on there but- i think he needs more cranial mass. Pecs should roll over the bicep a bit more. Thumb extensors should flow down into the thumb. The whole extensor side of the wrist looks a little strange. Change the angle of the bicep. I think he need thicker knees.
My little picks on a pretty sweet model
Might be better off showing a normal render out of ZB for from crits
gingerrichd: thanks for the feedback!
Cranium is a bit bigger and more curved from the front view.
Pectorals get more into the arm.
Arm and wrist muscles re-shaped.
Change the angle of the bicep to face more inwards, I guess that’s what looked wrong to you.
Not sure what you mean with the thumb extensors, I just sketched them going one the top of the thumb like this.
SeanJM: thanks for the idea, I’m going to do that right after I correct some anatomy incongruencies
Some Zbrush captures:
gr8! study, there is no way you are gonna forget what goes where in the human body anymore. I am doing a detailed anatomy study too. a must for 3d sculpting.
would be great if you could share your workflow. like how many subtools? basmesh? zspheres? any special brushes, tricks etc.
very nice work, yes, would be great if you share your workflow
Great work !,I love what you have done, keep it up.
Excellent sculpts. Looks like you have a good grasp on the muscle structure.
Thanks for your comments
I would say, I’m just about starting to understand the muscles… and I’m pretty sure I should keep practicing because areas like the forearm are hard to remember unless you keep looking at refs often.
I just created a basemesh in max for the whole body and a couple of spheres for the eyes, then I exported to zbrush and did the rest there.
I haven’t done any magical trick for the modeling, but since some of you are interested I did a small capture sample. I would say that the most important things is having a good set of refs with all the angles ready for you to be able to concentrate on the model and not have to look for additional references.
incredible you have done here
wich did you use it
Hi,
I just wanted to share the final images with the post production:
Nice work. I know how tedious this work is.
Thats awesome work man. Are you going to make it available to download?
