amorphium to zbrush what is difference

is there much difference with amorphium to zbrush other than the price?

Patrick

I think ZBrush is unique. It can be integrated in every forkflow…but i think it is a complete application only for modelling, texturing and illustration…for now, but you must wait for the new version.

Amorphuim has many of the same functions, but the workflow behind them is not as convenient. It isn’t capable of the same level of texturing, doesn’t have the painting tools, or scripting.

To me, the difference in price is understandable.

Download the demos and play with them both.

I wasn’t very fond of Amorphium, but that’s just my opinion.

Just take a look at Amorpiums gallery vs. some of the work done here, no freaking contest at all!

Basically ZBrush rules, it takes a little bit of work to get a grip on ZBrush, but it is well worth it.

Hey Life 3d,
One of main reasons (there are many) why I did not stay with Amorph is because of it’s symmetry function. Symmetry only works in the view you are in. With ZB no matter how you turn your model the symmetry remains the same on that model.

My 2 cents,

amorphium was one of my first modeling tools after bryce 5 and i really have to say that this tool is only a toy and i hate it,the renderer is okay but for modeling it is sh…zbrush is,in my opinion absolutly highend and it has a fair price.zbrush is 10000 times better than amorphium.
what i really hated in amorphium is that you cant export textures that you painted on the model.this is no problem in zbrush.
in zbrush you have better tools for modeling and you can model 100% faster than in amorphium you also can make texture seamless or paint textures for use in other tools and there are many more things like the zscripts the great tutorials and so on.
