Alpha round cropped without reason (rf is off)

I have made a long rectangle alpha and it was working fine just yesterday.

But now, I get the alpha cropped like if was inside a circle shape … I have put the focal shift to 0 (both in brush and mask mode), and radial fade is off, so it shouldn’t crop anything … why this happens?

I tried projection master but the alpha get resized non uniformly in a square shape.

Thank you.

It is also affected by the menu brush->curve. A flat curve avoids it.

Thank you for this info!

Sadly, I flattened the brush curve but it still does the same “round” effect.
Any thoughts?

RF 0, focal shift -100 and flat brush curve should be enough. Normally it would use dragrect stroke.
You mentioned you has set focal shift to 0 when it should be -100. If this doesn’t work simply post your brush to take a look.

Yes, I read my post and I said focal shift 0, but actually it was at -100 indeed.
I can’t understand, because it was working before…
I did all the params you mentonned.

Alpha gets cropped like a circle shape while using dragrect ? why?
