Hi all
I’ve exported some handmade alphas from Photoshop as 16bit Grayscale images but the majority of them are coming in corrupted and are unusable as stamps
They look like this:
Any thoughts as to whats going on?

Hi @garbagematt ,
I don’t experience this. You would need to contact ZBrush support and provide more information about your installation environment, the software versions involved, and provide the files themselves for examination in order for us to look into this.
Thank you!
Thanks Spyndel
What is my position when it comes to raising a ticket with support now?
I am not on a subscription plan and I am using a perpetual license of ZBrush 2022.0.5
Support for ZBrush is currently provided free for all registered users of ZBrush. The current version of ZBrush is 2022.06, and this is a free upgrade for all registered users. It’s generally a good idea to be using the most up to date version of the program before contacting support, as obsolete versions are missing fixes and it isn’t practical to troubleshoot an out of date version for problems that may have already been corrected.
Brilliant. Thank you Spyndel.
In the meantime I have found a solution to my original post.
It seems that the layered Photoshop files need to be flattened before they are saved out as an alpha rather than doing a ‘save as copy’ and unchecking the ‘layers’ box.
