Alien Creature Model, how (if it's possible) can I add a ZSphere body?

Hey y’all,
I’ve been working with ZBrush only for about two weeks and lovin’it :D! Here’s my first creation, please do comment.
However I’ve made it in parts that I made from premitives, so I can’t move it’s limbs the way it’s possible when a model is made from ZSpheres :frowning: So does anybody know how I can assign a ZSphere sceleton to my model?

Anyway, here’s my first creation with ZBrush. Enjoy

Sweet image!
As for “assigning” a ZSphere skeleton to your model, I don’t believe its possible. :frowning: Should have built the model from ZSpheres at the start. The model, as it is, could be used as a guide for the ZSphere approach.

Hi U-jin
Welcome aboard!
Cool first post!
There is no animation in Zbrush but some crazzy script like this last one !
But you must animate each Images !
And as you have no zspheres work that’s a little hard
The best that you can is polymeshing your model (just one object) and export it toward a dedicated prog !
Or better re make an another monster in Zspheres for your training!
You have some yet full capabilities
Have fun
Pilou
Ps But ask to Digits by Personal Message if there are no possibilities with her number crazzy scripts to associate an object to a Chain of Zspheres !
profile of Digits press “Send new personl message”

That is a mighty fine looking creature! I would like to see the brightness/contrast adjusted a little as it is a bit dark against the background and it is hard to see the details. :+1: :+1:

Hi U-Jin
I am reading a little more the Zb2 features, and yes you will can Insert 3Dobject on A Zspheres Chain !!!
ake a look at here  Insert Local 3D Meshes
So Wait again a little

Hi u-jin Welcome¡¡¡
Great modeling work¡¡¡ and the texture is great¡¡¡ The suggestion about lighting setup will highlith your already wondeful post¡

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I don’t think Zspheres work the same way that adding ‘bones’ do in other 3D applications.

I’ve found that you can’t bend the Zsphere skeleton AFTER you’ve modelled your object, without getting major distortions. The only way it seems to be possible is once the ZSphere skeleton’s made, is to pose the skeleton, then do all the modelling. And remodelling has to be done from scratch each time you want a different pose.

As I’ve said, please correct me if I’m wrong.

Looks good a little dark as mentioned above.
Frenchy Pilou :
Cool link you posted - LOL cyborg making in Z2 should be easy.

Hey everybody, thanx for all your compliments on my first work :). And thank you Frenchy Pilou for your many tips on how I might solve my problem :sunglasses:

:+1: Keep up the good work sendin’ those cool images :+1:
