Hello,
We are in the final stages of post-production of the Akira Project, a crowd-sourced live-action fan trailer based on the manga and anime ‘AKIRA’ by Katsuhiro Otomo. For more info: www.akira-project.com.
We are looking for talented VFX artists to help us complete the last CG shots for the production for an early 2014 release.
- Modeler/Texturing/Lighting expert to work on Tetsuo’s monster scene. Ideally we also need a model for a jet fighter and an airplane carrier.
- Compositor/Generalist
- Particles effects (smoke, debris, fire, water)
This project was crowd-funded so our budget is very tight, but we received some additional funding lately and could pay between 100-250$CAD per shot, depending on its complexity. I know it’s not much, but it is what we can afford right now.
