adjusting draw flow of brush

Is there a way to adjust the flow of the draw tool on a 3d object so that when you draw on an object you get a single stroke instead of a number of bumps like I am getting now. Tried messing with the focal option but I dont see any difference that this tool makes. thanks.

1.-Look at the Stroke Panel> Mouse setting level from 1 to 8. The 8 values give more clear definition of the draw
2.-In the transform panel you can adjust the zcurve of the tip of your draw alpha, and finally,
3.-You can in the alpha panel adjust the curve of the alpha itself.
Hope this help
Thanks for your attention

All strokes are calculated as a series of points. There are, however, several things that affect the spacing of those points:

  1. Move the mouse more slowly. This places the points closer together and creates a smoother line.
  2. Hide portions of the mesh that you’re not currently editing. Fewer visible polygons means that more processor power can be devoted to your current brush stroke rather than rendering points. This results in a smoother stroke.

If you’re doing 2.5D painting rather than mesh editing, then you should probably change your stroke type using the Stroke palette. Different stroke types give different results.

You can also drop a high resolution mesh to the canvas using Projection Master, select a smoother stroke type, and paint your details onto the mesh that way.
