This is a newb question…I have a subtool that I just created and it appears at the top of the subtool list. But when I go and choose another subtool, it deletes the old one and replaces it with the new one I just selected. How do I add a second subtool without deleting the old one?

You would use “Append” button in the Subtool palette to add another subtool. BTW, your subtool was not destroyed or deleted. It was still in the Tool palette. The same thing will happen if you “Load Tool” or “Import” a mesh. It will replace the one you have in the Subtool palette and you would then “Append” the one you had originally from the Tool palette.
