Hi,
I know very little about 3d but I do use zbrush to sculpt 3d heads that are used for 2d animation. Now I have a few characters for which I need to add glasses. I picked already made glasses but i cant figure out how to adjust them easily to my character and once its done to be able to export the whole thing as an object.
Thx for your help!
Hello @OlegZ
The most basic explanation is that you would import your glasses into the tool menu (tool > import), then append these glasses as a subtool to your character head tool. The glasses can then be scaled or positioned independently of the head subtool.
However, getting the glasses to fit is a much more complicated subject. It may require substantial editing of the mesh, or the creation of an entirely new mesh, custom made for that particular head. These are broad subjects, and will require a comprehensive understanding of modelling and sculpting in Zbrush. While Zbrush can absolutely be used to compliment many other tools, you still need a good understanding of the entire program to make that efficient.
The Pixologic Classroom has a number of useful introductory videos, and the documentation is fairly extensive.
