Finally found time to finish this Amblypigid model (Acantophrynus coronatus). My second favorite animal next to hound dogs! Sculpted and Polypainted in ZBrush and substance and rendered in Redshift for Maya with a megecsans tree trunk for background. Used yeti to add the tiny hairs.

I’m always concerned that an entomologist is going to tell me exactly which hairs are out of place for this species. Its happened to me before!
