Hi everybody,

I’m working a on new image (WIP) of the man reading a book. The first thing that came to my mind was the Rockwell’s ilustration. than here is

Modeling and textures made on ZBrush, light, fur andrender on Maya.

Well, I hope you like it. Crits and comment are welcome

Fantastic character you have here. Though I think his specular map can use a bit of work. He looks very wet. The texture on his collar also seems to be warping strangely. All in all a great piece though! :+1:

Very good looking character. Kinda spooky with the proportions…reminds me of Fats (the dummy) from the 78’ classic, “Magic”. Love the work on his clothing also.

Good god that’s an outstanding render. The fur is blowing my mind. I do agree that you could drop the specular in the skin a bit though. Again, great work.

Well, Here is the update of scene. I still neeed work on the pose, and fix some prblems like specular, hand and some adjustments on light. Also I will be modeling a glass…I hope you like it. Crits and comment ar welcome.

looks good but he looks like he is sweating pretty bad. maybe you could turn down the spec a little. nice render though :+1:

Looks good. My only gripe about it is that his hair looks too molded to his head.
dont know Why but I have the sudden urge to model Mr. Rogers…
