Thank you for sharing this link Lonnie, it is very much appreciated. The fonts there reminds of a font program available in the early ninties called Fontasy.
that is a great font site – I like how it’s organized by category
Thanks for the link, Mentat. As a Font Pig this site is a real treat.
And I must mention Blambot – home of a whole lotta “free” fonts (be sure to read the licence) made especially for comic artist with little or no budget. I use them and even bought a few faces from the paid section. Much more affordable than ComicCraft (and now that they have lost the Marvel contract, they may “see” the light and make their prices a bit more affordable  )

Thank you, Mentat, this reminds me to build up my font list.
I love fonts, they can be a great creative motivation.
http://www.larabiefonts.com/ - rules too… he has them all in a single zip, hundreds of them…
I used a sharware prog to convert the pc truetype to mac truetype so they’d run under os9/10 but I dont think you’d need to do that just to use them in X (at the time i had mostly classic apps)… And you dont have to convert anything at all if you’re running windows…
does mean you end up with a v v v long font list though.
Thanks for the resource!!!
