$700 billion bailout

Hey guys,

So I wanted to take a break from my current project and pump out a quick political piece. In short:

Everyone around the world is suffering from the mistakes made here in America. While we know that the $700 was a necessary step, many Americans are angry that without proper transparency and oversight this could very well go towards the pockets of bank executives. As such, I wanted to portray bank executives in the light I think they deserve.

Sorry for the political statement, but without context I think it might be hard to see what this piece is about. I’m trying to find ways to make this image more self explanatory. Anyways, if you have any ideas on that, share please! Here’s a few images:

PS!!! - sorry about the joker mouth. Yeah I know it’s getting old -_-. I just thought it worked well with this char.

nice sculpt…:+1:

Very good use of ZBrush for something more meaningful. I think that you should really texture him and make a scene so that the mesage becomes more clear.

Btw I would not call the current situation as a result of chains of mistakes. It is pure greed

“Everyone around the world is suffering from the mistakes made here in America”

yes it is greed and with 700billion the banks should be
owned by the government and all profit should be the property of the government
and used to relieve taxpayers (infrastructure, education, health). when does a bank ever bail out a
civilian? anyways

nice sculpt

Nice sculpt! Maybe he should carry a folded up umbrella. Banks are institutions which lend you umbrellas when the sun shines and wants them back when rain comes.

Sorry, I know this isn’t a political forum but I just have to say something because it’s so important. The $700 billion was not necessary–in fact it’ll more than likely make matters much worse, just please take a look at the other side of the coin. There’s lots of videos and articles on the subject, here’s one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TlgByE1jDRA&NR=1

Anyway, I really like the concept idea behind the piece, love the pin  The skull looks a little weak however…maybe the eyes need to be pushed back more? Give him more cheekbones?
