4r8 crashes on quicksave

Hi,
I’m having this really annoying issue, where 4r8 crashes everytime the very moment when autosaving while using a brush or the move/scale/rotate gizmo on a subtool.
It usually creates a recovery tool from which I can resume to work, nonetheless it is time-consuming to restart every half hour or so.
I don’t want to disable quicksave completely.
Is this bug known to anyone else? If so, is there a workaround/solution?

You may have flakey ram.

The only time I got bad crashes, I had a bad motherboard with two bad dimm slots.

fortunately, my RAM is fine. I tested it.

I’m having the same problem on 4r7 and 4r8 on two different machines. Only thing that’s worked for me is turning off quicksave altogether.
