So Ive been on Zbrush every day for a couple of years. 4r7 would crash sometimes sure… but 4r8 just crashes all the time… its killing me
I can’t get 4r7 to run since installing R8, it just spins the hour glass forever, and I don’t know if my tools would open in it anyway now that Ive saved in 4r8… what is with that
Are there any simple troublshootings or logs that I havent considered that can help me track down the crashes?

What operations seem to cause it to crash?
4R7 can’t open files (.ztl) saved from 4R8, but should load them if they’re saved as .obj.
Clicking on a .zpr here(no matter what version it was saved from) launches 4R7 which doesn’t have capabilities of R8 and results in error.
If Dots Display is enabled, clicking BPR makes it very unhappy (crashes)…(still)
I have experienced that 4R8P2 crashes after I switch (alt tab) to another window in front. Not directly but after about 5 minutes.
Practically always when I save in ZPR file, the first next action makes my Zbrush crash. Not to mention some random actions and tools that triggers the crash.
The good size is that Zbrush always make a quicksave before the crash, but It’s really annoying and broke completely my workflow.
