3DS MAX to Zbrush workflow

Hi guys,
I always do hard surface modeling in 3ds max. When I end up in a nice base model in MAX I collapse turbosmooth which had been added to the modifier list then I export it as OBJ and select Zbrush as preset. Then I import it in zbrush and try to do Zremesher but after remeshing, my base model loses its first quality. Many supporting esdges are gone away so those sharp edges get soft.
Please anyone help me to learn how I can handle remeshing the model exported from MAX.
My aim is to create the base model in MAX and then add details in Zbrush. In some cases I may need to use Dynamesh over my base mesh exported from MAX, for example, when I want to add a skull shape to the end of a knife handle.
Please guide me.

You could use Geometry>Crease function to firm up the edges and stop things collapsing.
