3ds Max To Zbrush To 3ds Max Tutorials?

Hello, I am fairly new to Zbrush and I was just wondering If anyone knows of any good 3ds max to zbrush tutorials? NO, not the one on this site in the Wiki. That doesn’t help me at all. or can someone explain to me?

Ill tell you what I am stuck on. I am able to make the low poly model in 3ds max and import into zbrush, sculpt etc. But when I try to export the maps (normal, color, displacement) they come out looking like a static tv screen. Its really annoying!! I try to open my uvw unwrap plugin And my UV master doesnt pop up. I left Zbrush for maybe two to three months and now that Im back in it I feel a little special because its so new.

What Im going for is something like the Judge Death model here (http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?t=080678) I want to go for that simplicity but make zbrush have it look insanely detailed.

PLEASE HELP!! IM SICK OF EMPTY ANSWERS!

hello friend i have same problem but u can get some reference from you tube videos.it’s very helpful.

Same here. I’ve spent alot of time on youtube checking seperate tutorial videos, but it would be great if some pro could combine these into a nicely explained workflow video. I’m sure this is a major part of the modelling process. Everyones gotta render their models somewhere, right?

The videos I found were mostly about normal maps, and others about displacement maps. What I would like is a video about texture maps, normal maps ánd displacement maps… or at least a clear vision on how to get the best detailed result out of 3dsmax using Zbrush.

I’d really appreciate a good guide

Likewise. I really don’t want to start anew with maya but I feel as though I am hitting a brick wall trying to get what I want via zbrush -> 3ds max.

This tutorial is a good start, but it’s made using zbrush 3.1 and 3dsmax 9: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?t=61434

It would be nice to have an updated tutorial video that also covers normal/texture maps, so if anyone has come across one… feel free to pass it on
