i am fond of redheads
Thank you for the Ziggy Stardust brushâŠ
if ZB can handle billions of polys then why no hair these only around 1,100,000 polys thanks for veiwin !
Thats an awesome effect, but how did you do it?
How about a tutorial for this. Would be nice to see a finished model made and rendered using this method.
thnx guys see if i can put together a tut on method
Thats interesting,
I also used a little different approach using blender for this (lot of other apps can be used, I suppose)
http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?t=83616&page=15&pp=15
but results are also interesting and using less than a million faces.
thnx michalis this all done in ZB!
I know Komar, you used a masking grid.
A good idea is to construct just a group of hair and add it here and there. The move and smooth brushes are our friends here. I mostly agree that 1 or two millions of faces isnât much for zbrush, though I noticed that its not the amount of verts - faces that counts on performance. When lot of individual meshes are one in front of the other some delay should be expected. Noticed this?
Its great to see this working out. I am a fan of experimenting with masks and deformers etc as it opens up ideas for what can be done, and this has turned out great, well done.
âŠfor some wigs!
long time no hear Frenchy, thanx Arran
uploaded a hair sample divide a few times smooth off > deformations > gravity - y > sculpt with move tool . post improvements images here feedback welcome thnx for watching !!

Ha! really cool, I like these resultsâŠI hope they make a new Thundercats movie just so they can use this hair.
thnx yusefker !! 50 downloads 1 feedback - all take no give ??? download turn up geometry and move brush thats all !!
iâll try it out this weekend for sure. looks helpful. thanks for passing it along to the community!
Thanks for the input.
Hi, Gary thanks for sharing the tool, Iâll use it in my next work.
Iâll give you five stars *****

thnx for feedback lets see some results - improvements theres over 100 downloads on the zips !!! im sick of seeing sculpted hair here help me out !!! - Ofer hair in the next version ??? would be nice !! i know you have something up your sleeve and no posts in awhile ?? heâs up too something !!!
had some time to do a demo of method ideas welcome !
- sphereinder
- masking > mask all > sel 1 > skp 1 > row > col > inverse > create alpha
- make polymesh 3d
4-5-6) mask areas you dont want fibers > inverse > visibility > hide points > display properties > double > geometry > delete hidden - masking > mask by alpha
- deformation > size xyz > masking > clear
- geometry > smth off > divide x 3 > deformation > gravity z
- mask top hairs
- deformation > size xyz > deformation > offset z
- masking > clear > deformation > noise xyz
- sculpt with very large size move brush > deformation > sbend ??? to fit pose ??
