3d shareware modeler for the Mac

Just a heads up for Mac users out there. A shareware modeler, it’ll cost ya $54 for the fully enabled version. I’m just starting to check it out, but you can export to just about all major file formats including obj! Find it at hexasuper.com. Looks great for getting a model started for ZBrush with an optimized mesh.

Adman

Thanks for the posting Adman.
It certainly looks a very interesting/useful App and Z companion.
Especially for users on a tight budget and Pro’s beside.

Of particular interest to ZBrush character modellers are these features

Enables three dimensional objects to be created from pictures containing left-right symmetrical objects of any shape.

Automatically detects left-right symmetry from images, calculates the depth and creates 3D wire frames.
The fact that it is capable of creating 3D shapes from a roughly drawn illustrations or cartoons may be a real headstart for Z users working from character sketches.

Nice tip.

The Flooze

Looks like a GREAT program, Adman, but what have they done for us PC users???
