3d planet

i am trying to do a simple planet in 3d so that i can have it spin (as planets do). i cannot seem to do this. someone told me i have to export my zbrush art as an object, but i don’t seem to have that choice. can someone please help me?!
by the way, i seem to have version 1.23a, tho i can’t even seem to find where to see for sure.

hi, CrimsonDragon! to export a z-tool you have to go to tools-palette>INVENTORY (not modifiers!)-there you will find a few options and an export-button!

btw, this is a good question to be asked in the zbrush-forum - the streets over here at community are not that crowded so it might take some time until you get your :qu: answered

have fun!

edit: for making the source pics for animations you do not have to “leave” zbrush, btw (to make an animated GIF out of them, you’ll need something like adobes image-ready or gif-animator!) either you do a zmovie, (see EZ’s message below, once you have created your planet i recommend to load the spin.txt-script that comes with Z-Brush since v. 1.23, and then record a movie!) or go to Digit’s fantabulous
Z-Place and download the fantastico widgets from this page (the standard version should do fine for your purposes - dont forget to download the documentation that comes with those help- and powerfool tools!).

hope that helps!
