Well, looks like I wonm, at least I am one of the winnners. Unfortunatly I didn’t use Z this time, it was CLAY.
Here’s the entry I made:

Looking forward to getting this guy on my mantle piece over the fire later in the year.
Glen
Congratz, Glen…Looks like an Abbot from a 12th century monastery…Nice clean modelling…
I have one of these models in my studio, and am carving now to raise the finances for my own Stereolithographic equipment. I’ve found that you can detail these very easily, and you might find it interesting when you get the model to work it further…
Congratulations southern , I have entered the contest too , but really I was’nt expecting to win with the likes of your work in there :)…this one was one of my favs when I first scanned the previous entries
All the best
Kircho
Congratulations Glen !!! Great head !!!

P.S.
Glen, Clay is relased or you are a beta tester ??
Fantastic Glenn!!!
Bluesman
Well done, Glen. It’ll make a cool ornament.
This bust of Torquemada is beautiful
Bravo Glen !
Pilou
Nice work as usual Glen. What can you tell me about the current state of clay? Their website has been down for ages and I’m kind of keen to check out the app.
Grassy Noel
Not too sure when the website will be up again I’m afraid. As far as polygonal modelers go CLAY is now my favorite, even over Lightwave right now. I’ll most more when I can.
A few people have been posting image here at ZB that start out as low poly cages made in Wings or Max etc. CLAY is ideal for that.
The thing is, the name CLAY implies that the software may have some capabilites that make it similar to mdoeling with clay (the real stuff) and therefore possibly similar to ZB. It’s not! It a fantastic polygonal modeling app.
Glen

(JK is a CLAY Mesh, rigged and rendered in Lightwave. The Face texture was ZBrush)

So, why do you prefer Clay to LW, Glen?
What makes it more useful for you?
(Great character BTW…I love the expressiveness you got…
)
Great modeling Glen! Just from the quality of your wires, clay looks like it has great potential! If you do any more models like these please post your results for us to see!
Nice stuff Glen, and congrats on the win! What is the link to CLAY. I have gone through the search engines, but I can’t find this software. Any links to it?
Maybe this help you about Clay program !
Maybe you must have a register to Cgtalk for inside direct the result research!

Here’s the plaster version,

Yep…That’s why I’m carving my brains out to buy my own equipment…
Thanx for the peek!
This plastic seems rubbering
Pilou
It’s actually a kind of plaster with a liquid ‘infiltration’ resin Frenchy…
